H.R. 6184 America's Beautiful National Parks Quarter Dollar Coin Act of 2008 was recently signed into law. This will provide for the creation of a brand new series of circulating commemorative quarters. It will be similar to the popular 50 State Quarters Program which preceded it. Although State Quarters were popular, the National Parks Quarters are already receiving mixed reviews.

The new program specifically provides for the issuance of five different quarters each year featuring a design emblematic of a National Park or National Site in each US State, US Territory, and Washington DC. The designs would be released in the order each park or site was designated. The duration of the series would be 11 years, and comprise at least 56 different quarters. The series can optionally be extended for a second round of designs if approved by the United States Secretary of the Treasury.

The program also contains a unique aspect. The legislation provides for the production of oversized bullion duplicates of each coin. The duplicates would contain five ounces of .999 fine silver and include incused edge lettering.

The authorizing legislation was originally introduced on June 4, 2008. It was passed in the House on July 10, 2008, the Senate on December 10, 2008, and signed into law by the President on December 23, 2008.

There have been both supporters and opponents of the new series. Supporters of the National Park Quarters series have drawn parallels to the benefits provided by the 50 State Quarters Program. The innovative program created millions of eager new coin collectors, encouraged people to take a closer look at their pocket change, and highlighted the uniqueness of each State. The National Park Quarters series may draw in new collectors as well. The series will also keep Americans looking at their change and teach them about our National Parks.

Another point of support is the potential for the government to earn money from the program through seiginorage. This represents the difference between the cost to produce coins and their value. When the public removes coins from circulation and retains them, it generates extra earnings since the US Mint must produce additional coins to replace them. The US Mint has estimated that the prior 50 State Quarters Program generated between $2.7 and $2.9 billion of extra earnings which were transferred to the Treasury General Fund.

Opponents of the National Park Quarters series state that the concept of constantly changing reverse designs for our coinage has been overused. Following the success of the 50 State Quarters Program, the concept has been used for the cent, nickel, another series of quarters, and two series of dollar coins. For 2009, there will actually be more coins featuring rotating designs that coins with static designs.

Opponents have also cited a potential oversupply of numismatic product created by the continually expanding coin programs. Next year, there will be a total of 18 different circulating coin designs produced. This will include four different 2009 Lincoln Cents, the Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime, Washington DC Quarter, five US Territories Quarters, four Presidential Dollars, and one Native American Dollar. Collectors may soon grow weary of the constantly expanding scope of our national coinage.

Regardless of opinions, the National Park Quarters series is now a reality. Look for the first coins in 2010.

Art has the potential to inspire some deep emotions in each of us. We can look at a great piece of art and feel inspired and moved deeply, finding a form of beauty in the world that we never before really though existed. This is not the only purpose of art, however. Art can also be quite humorous, making us laugh and enjoy things by looking at them in an exaggerated way. There is a certain type of art which takes people and puts them into an exaggerated light. These are caricatures, which you surely have seen at some point during your life at an amusement park or perhaps on the wall of a steakhouse.

Caricatures take a person, often a celebrity, and draw them in a way that highlights some of that person's most recognizable traits and features. These turn out to be very humorous portrayals of the person and can often make a person laugh. The same is true when these portraits are made about celebrities. They are humorous and they can feature some of that celebrity's biggest traits. Just because this is not a realistic, moving depiction of the person, that doesn't mean that this is any less art than the other.

Most celebrities have a great sense of humor about any caricatures done about them. They know that they have very exaggerated traits sometimes and this is what makes them powerful as those actors, politicians, or athletes. They have a trait which makes them incredibly recognizable to the public at a single glance. They are usually only happy to enjoy these caricatures as long as these portraits do not get too personal or insulting. Many times, the celebrity will even autograph these caricatures, turning them into a great example of autographed art.

A caricature can often be found adorning the walls of popular restaurants. Often, these restaurants will decorate their space with personal touches of pop culture. When these restaurants are famous restaurants, celebrities will often come in to eat there. This can be a fun event for the restaurant because they can often impress the celebrity with their food and make a fan of their service for life. In return, they usually want to commemorate the fact that the celebrity has eaten at their establishment, so in the spirit of fun, they will have someone who is talented at drawing make a caricature of that celebrity. Often, that celebrity will sign the photo and it will be hung on the wall of the establishment for everyone to enjoy.

These are fun examples of an artwork that can give everyone a good laugh. They do not have to be made solely of celebrities, as anyone can have a caricature done of them at any amusement park or even some kiosks in a mall. Unless the caricature is of a celebrity, however, the piece will have little more than sentimental value. If you have a particularly good caricature of a celebrity, however, especially if that celebrity put their autograph on the piece, you could own quite a valuable piece of work.

Harrison Ford is one of the most popular actors of the 20th Century. His films are strong and iconic, for he has played characters which have become a part of pop culture. It is only natural that he would have a great number of fans and that these fans would want to begin collections which are devoted to commemorating him. There are quite a number of places to begin one of these collections, however, so to find the right celebrity collectibles which honor Harrison Ford, you must first decide what exactly you want to collect.

One could build an entire collection out of memorabilia from his Indiana Jones movies. From replicas of the hat he wore in the film to his whip that his character used, Indiana Jones collectibles can make a great collection. Stills from the films can provide a great adornment for the walls, especially if they have been autographed by Harrison Ford himself. Likewise, his work in Star Wars could provide a person with great opportunities to collect. Action figures have been made of Harrison Ford in Star Wars as well as any number of prints, stills, and posters. All of these items can go a long way toward supplementing a celebrity collectibles collection geared toward Harrison Ford.

Naturally, one of the best pieces of memorabilia which a person could collect would be an autographed photo. It gives a sense of value into a collection and is something relatively easy to obtain. An autographed photo provides a sense of distinction to a collection as it is an item which the celebrity themselves have touched. In the case of Harrison Ford, having an autographed photo could be the centerpiece around which a collection is built, as it is something which the actor himself has touched. One of these items could give a great sense of pride to any collector.

Autographs will often become the centerpiece of any collection as they will allow for an anchor point to the rest of the pieces. These autographs do not always have to come on photos, however. Harrison Ford could easily autograph a copy of one of the scripts for a film that he worked on and this could become a great collector's item. Books written about those films can also make a great autographed piece, showing that it is something which the actor is happy to grace their signature with.

Harrison Ford collectibles can often be a very fun challenge to collect. If you are attempting to collect Harrison Ford collectibles, then you are most likely a fan of his work. This will give a special thrill to the acquiring of these items and the entire project can become something of a game as you strive to complete the collection. These celebrity collectibles can be a great way to pass the time, tracking them down and obtaining them gives one the thrill of the hunt. Indeed, nothing will give a sense of pride like when a long sought after piece is finally gained for the collection. Any Harrison Ford fan can begin to build an esteemed collection with great ease, starting today.

In this day and age many well known celebrities have started to use their fame for good. They are now taking items from their personal collections and lives and are giving them to charitable events in order to have them auctioned off in order to obtain money for the organization and or charity. This allows busy celebrities who are unable to attend the event themselves in order to raise money, to show that they still care about the charity, and also give them a method and means to raise money for the charity.

The majority of celebrities will always list such functions wherein they will have items from their personal collection auctioned off for charity on their websites. If you are interested in obtaining one of a kind items from a celebrities personal collection to add to your own celebrity collectibles, then you should look into attending one of these auctions in person. However, in some cases these types of auctions for charity are conducted online. Meaning that you will never have to leave the comfort of your home in order to bid and hopefully obtain the celebrity collectibles that you desire to acquire for your collection.

Many charitable auctions that do offer up celebrity collectibles as part of their auction will obtain the items directly from the celebrity or will have them donated by another collector who supports the charity. In the case of the latter, the auction and charity will test the items for authenticity to assure all bidders that the items they are bidding on, in regards to celebrity collectibles, are one hundred percent authentic in nature.

There are actually two main things that a charitable auction will do before offering the items up for bid. First they will acquire a certificate of authenticity for the item. They will do this by hiring an outside organization to investigate the legitimacy of the item. This will give you the bidder freedom of mind that the item up for bid is in pristine quality and actually belonged to, was signed by, or was used by the celebrity in question.

The second thing that the charity auction will do is hire an appraiser to determine the overall value of the celebrity collectible up for auction. They will consider the authenticity of the item and then will appraise the item based on its rarity and popularity on the market.

Since the charity has already taken these two steps prior to an item going up for bid in a celebrity collectible auction, you will save yourself both the time and money it would take you to do these things if you were purchasing it from a private seller. This is why so many collectors prefer to acquire their celebrity collectibles from celebrity and charity auctions.

There is also the simple fact that the majority of items put up for charitable auction by the celebrity themselves are hard to find or one of kind items that you will not be able to find anywhere else on the market.

Ever since it became a common place item in every household, television shows have been a regular part of the general public life. We all have favorite television shows and we all generally make an effort to follow those shows as closely as we can. For some of us, those shows move past something which we casually watch and become a bit of a habit for us. We are addicted to these shows which we love and become somewhat rabid fans. This moves us well past just watching the show every week to see the new episode. Our love of the show will drive us well past that.

Instead, we want to become collectors of items which are related to the show. When a show is popular, companion books to the show are often published. These books will offer an inside glimpse at many facets of the show which might not otherwise be shown to fans. They can trace the historical origins of the show and offer predictions about where the show might be going. These companions can often offer interviews with the creators, actors, and crew of the show, showing special insights that fans would love to hear about.

Most of these shows are released in DVD box sets now. These DVD box sets are often collectors items in their own rights, as they come in specially marked packaging and will offer a slew of bonus features. Commentary tracks, bonus features, and interviews included on these DVDs will often delight any fan, giving them more to know about the show. These DVD editions will often be labeled as Collector's Sets, giving them a place in the collections of any fan.

These are not the only forms of celebrity collectibles, however. Additional items are also often available to be collected. Stills from the show can help to decorate any space as well as be valuable items, especially if the stills have been signed by members of the cast. Scripts from certain episodes will also make for good celebrity collectibles, as they will be items which the cast has used to create their show. Any of these items which may have played a part during the creation of the show are sure to be valued to someone making a collection of memorabilia based on their favorite television show.

Items used during the filming of the show are also often available for collectors. Reality television shows in particular will often auction off the props from one of their seasons after the show is complete. These profits will very often be donated to charity. Other props might be available, such as items that were displayed in the background of certain scenes to props which the cast might have used during the takes of the show. Wardrobe from the show can also be a very popular item of celebrity collectibles as these are items which can be taken and used again by the fan if they so desire. Television offers a myriad of possibilities when it comes to celebrity collectibles, you only need a little imagination to find a place to start the collecting.

A true doll lover, Jenny was very fond of dolls in her young years. She would always grab dolls of other young girls and then would try to own them. And whenever her birthday comes, or even Christmas season is up and coming back then, all you will hear from her is that she wants dolls and nothing else.

She was a good child so it is not surprising for her to get what she wants. Now, she already have 3 pretty dolls around, her American Girl dolls Elizabeth, Samantha, and Julie.

Jenny got Elizabeth on her 4th birthday. Elizabeth was in a rich berry-red dress made from a brocade fabric first time she saw her. The dress looked very nice to Jenny most especially that it was highlighted by a contrasting gold panel then on. Not to mention that there was also delicate cream-colored lace with a metallic gold detail that spilled down the bodice and trimmed the sleeves. There were also the ruby-colored faux jewels that sparkled against the lace and a cream lace cap with a berry-red ribbon which have really lighted up not only Elizabeth's look but also Jenny's face.

American Girl Doll Elizabeth can still be found on the market however in different get up.

While Samantha on the other hand, was acquired by Jenny on the Christmas day following her 4th birthday. Samantha was in time for Christmas back then as she was wearing a thick velveteen coat with faux trim. She was wearing as well a wide brimmed hat with matching velveteen band and black knitted mittens. She looked very gorgeous then on. Not to mention that she was also holding flowers. Jenny felt so delighted having Samantha in her hands; her second doll.

Samantha just like Elizabeth can still be found on the market but also in different get up.

Finally, Jenny had Julie on her 6th birthday. Julie was in a casual dress and got a doll trunk wardrobe. Julie got a bag, hairbrush, and accessories. Julie seemed like perfect for travel. Jenny was so happy back then having Julie, another addition to her pretty doll collection.

Like the two the other dolls, Julie can still be found the market. But now in new look, dresses and accessories such as necklaces, rings, bracelets, headbands, and earrings.

Now, Jenny is looking forward to getting new dolls for her pretty doll collection. However, her parents reminded her that she must not give her full attention to dolls alone as they also have some strings attached. If given much attention, she might become addicted with them. And also, that she must not look after to just getting American Girl Dolls as there are still a lot of other pretty dolls out there.

You might have a hobby where you try your hardest to collect items which are related in some way to celebrities. These pieces of memorabilia allow you to build an impressive collection, showing off noteworthy pieces of interest. Many of these pieces of memorabilia are pretty interesting in their own right and will give you the chance to impress your friends and to own an interesting piece of history. A great number of people would like to own their own celebrity collectibles, but might not know where to begin to search for them. This problem is easily solved, however.

The first thing that you need to do when you want to begin to collect celebrity collectibles is to figure out what it is that you want to collect. There are a number of different types of collectibles available and you could begin to collect things based on any number of different celebrities or projects. You might decide to build a collection based on memorabilia from your favorite movie, or you might decide to build one based on your favorite actress or sports star. You may even decide to not collect based only on one theme, but decide to build a collection based around anything which interests you. However you decide to begin your collection, you will need to know where to look first.

The Internet is a great place to start to begin to find a number of valuable celebrity collectibles. A great many websites exist which are dedicated to helping collectors work on their collections, finding pieces which may be eluding them. These websites can help collectors get in touch with each other, building a network of people which can look out for each other, helping fellow collectors build leads or find pieces for which they may be searching. Many of these websites will also offer items for sale, for the owner of the website may have stumbled across a great deal of a celebrity collectible and thought that buying the item might make a good investment.

Auction websites are another great place for celebrity collectibles to be found. These websites will allow anyone to put a collectible item up for sale and sell it to the highest bidder. These auctions can often be a great place to find very rare items, you only have to be careful for they can sometimes end up being rather costly. If you are looking for a great piece for your collection, though, sometimes this can be the only place to find it.

Another place you can often find some great celebrity collectible items, especially if you are just beginning to build a collection, is at conventions especially marketed toward collectors of celebrity memorabilia. These gatherings will often feature a number of other collectors who are all looking to supplement their collections by visiting any number of the booths, areas, and events featured by the convention. Many different types of celebrity collectibles can be found at these conventions, allowing for anyone to begin to build a collection with all of their favorite pieces.

Alfred Hitchcock is one of history's most beloved directors. He brought a number of films to life, providing the world with some of the most iconic images which have ever been made through cinema. His films have become a part of pop culture, with moments and events in the films being a part of common public knowledge. He has inspired scores of filmmakers, giving many people the drive to go out there and make terrific films which have also become a great feature of cinema. Considered to be one of the greatest directors of all time, it is only natural that a large number of people would want to start collections based around this classic director.

Many different books have been published all about this director, from biographies to tomes detailing his films. Some of the films have been so iconic that there are books solely dedicated to the making of those individual films, such as Psycho, North by Northwest, or Vertigo. Other books can be found such as collections of all the poster artwork from his long and varied career. All of these forms of books can be considered to be celebrity collectible memorabilia since they are dedicated to things that Hitchcock heavily had a hand in.

Alfred Hitchcock's films have all been released many times on both video and DVD, giving the world the chance to enjoy his movies. Many of these movies have been released as special collector's editions, however. Each of these films will often come in special packaging with special bonus materials located inside. These will often delight collectors, giving them a chance to see more about their favorite filmmaker and all of his techniques. Hopefully, one could become a better filmmaker by studying the Master of Suspense. These DVDs can all lend a hand to that. Some editions have even been produced which release a great number of his most famous films all in one special, collectible box set.

Hitchcock also inspired a number of games, some during the height of his popularity in the classic American home from his television show. Hitchcock produced his own mystery board game which has players racing around a deserted old home, trying to solve a murder mystery that happened there. Clue has produced its own homage to Hitchcock, with a special edition Hitchcock themed game where all of the suspects, rooms, and weapons are taken directly from his films. A few computer games have even been produced which take elements from his best movies and have the players solve the mystery using those elements.

Considering how highly esteemed Alfred Hitchcock is, there is no surprise that people believe in his collectibles as much as they do. There is no telling about how much influence Hitchcock has played in the world of cinema, nor how much he will continue to play in the future. With someone who has gives as much as he has to the world of movie making, it is easy to believe that people will be gathering celebrity collectibles and memorabilia about this great director for many years to come.

When it comes to art, many professionals in the field of what is considered "great" and "historic" art, believe that signed celebrity art or celebrity artwork in general, has no place in the world of art. These so-called professionals believe that true artists are only comprised of those who dedicate their entire lives to a specific type of art, such as painting or sculpturing. However, if a celebrity crosses over and begins to produce artwork, many professionals will not take them or their work seriously. They will simply believe that the celebrity is simply "dabbling" in art.

This is true of various types of art beyond the world of historic and museum type art. It can even be seen in the field of entertainment. For instance, when a musician attempts to cross over from music into acting, many people raise an eyebrow and will criticize the musician for their acting. They will make bold statements saying that the musician should stick to singing and get away from acting. This has been seen a great deal over the last decade as many rap artists have attempted to cross the boundaries between one creative medium to the next. Very few artists can successfully do both and this has been seen time and time again.

The main reason for this is that people in general will always see an artist in the first vein they were recognized in. If an individual acquired fame as a singer, not many people want to see them cross over into another field of entertainment or art. They will therefore always judge the person or celebrity based on the first thing they were successful at. This is why there are few individuals and or celebrities who have been successful in more than one creative outlet.

However, the forensics of signed celebrity art, have proven that regardless of the artistic talent of a musician, singer, sports figure, or actor when it concerns them crossing over into painting or creating sculptures, that the individual will succeed in making some type of money. It has also been proven that signed celebrity art will increase in value throughout the years based on the performance of the celebrity in their most well known field of art whether it be acting or musical performances.

Signed celebrity art is increasing in value each and every year. The majority of collectors who purchase or seek after signed celebrity art, are die-hard fans of the celebrity who will do anything to acquire anything and everything created by the celebrity.

Many fans are willing to fork over great deals of money in order to obtain signed artwork created by their favorite celebrity. Fans are very much different than the majority of professional art owners and critics. They are willing to enjoy the many arts of their chosen celebrity. This means that they enjoy the majority of everything that their chosen celebrity produces, and are more willing to give them the benefit of the doubt when they attempt to cross from one medium to another.

There may come a time when you either willing or unwilling make the choice to part ways with celebrity photos from your collection. Whether these be general celebrity photographs that you have taken yourself, or have purchased over the years. This also goes for autographed celebrity photos that you may have collected.

When it comes to finding a buyer for your celebrity photos, there are many routes you can take in order to make a sell.

First you need to figure out who your target buyer will be. If you have celebrity photos of a single celebrity, you may first want to begin targeting buyers who have a special liking for that specific individual. The best way to do this is to do some basic research on the Internet. Visit fan related websites that promote the celebrity who you own photos of you. You will most likely find forums wherein you can you post information about the celebrity photos you are attempting to sell. You can also state your terms and prices. Fans of this celebrity who stumble upon your ad, and are serious about the celebrity will no doubt contact you if they are interested. This will cut a lot of leg work out of attempting to find a buyer for your celebrity photos. You simply place the ad and wait for the buyers to contact you.

Another proven method is to determine the value and worth of your photos. You can then do a search on the Internet or make phone calls to find out when celebrity memorabilia auctions will be taking place in your area. You can contact these organizations and describe the items you are attempting to put on the market. However, you will need to have your items appraised and if the celebrity photos have an autograph on them, you will want to get them tested for authenticity to make sure that the autograph is legitimate.

As long as your celebrity photos contain a celebrity who is well liked, then the chances of you finding a buyer are excellent. If the celebrity photos you have are of a deceased celebrity, chances are, if the photo is rare and contains an autograph, that you will be able to make a good chunk of money from selling the photo. The more rare and hard to find your celebrity photo is, the more money you will be able to make when you find a buyer.

Be sure to have any certificates of authentication or other official papers that you may have on the celebrity photos available for the buyer to look at. If the buyer does ask to have the authenticity tested on the photos, make sure that you don't let the buyer walk away with the photos. Agree to the testing at their costs, but never let the photographs leave your sight.

The best method to getting the most money for your celebrity photo is to sell the photo yourself by finding buyers who are interested in the celebrity who appears in your photographs. This way you can state the terms and price of the photo, without having to worry about how much money you might or might not get from placing it in a celebrity auction.

Collectors can go after any number of items for their collections. They can delight in collecting all of the pieces of a limited edition series or in a series of autographed photos and movie stills all dedicated to some of their favorite actors. Some of these pieces can be incredibly rare and worth quite a bit of money. These items can be bought in specialty shops or found online through different websites or auctions and collectors can end up paying quite a bit of money for some of them. They are usually good investments, however, for their value will usually increase over time.

Any piece, however, can be greatly improved in its value with the presence of an autograph on the collectible piece. This autograph will make the piece even more rare than it already is because not all of the other pieces in the world have this same autograph. The autograph in question will take the piece of collectible memorabilia and elevate it into a position that other pieces in the world do not have. This makes the piece even more rare and, ultimately, even more valuable. If you ever go to sell the piece, you will be able to sell the collectible for more than if it did not have the autograph.

The same is true for collecting autographed art. Works of art in themselves can be quite valuable pieces to collect. Original art pieces generally are one of a kind and this makes them rare to begin with. Some pieces of art can sell for millions of dollars. Of course, these pieces can still be enhanced with the presence of an autograph from the artist placed somewhere on the work. Their signature is like a seal of verification from the artist that the work is complete and that they are satisfied with it.

Of course, some pieces of art are remade as prints, so that the general public is able to enjoy them. Many of these original pieces are owned by museums who happily share them with the world, but understand the desire of people to have these wonderful paintings in their own homes, where they can continue to inspire people in their day to day lives. Therefore, prints are made of these paintings that everyone can have a piece of. These prints are generally considered to not have any value, as they are only reproductions of an original, rare piece. If, however, a collector is able to meet an artist, assuming they are still alive, and get the print autographed, the piece suddenly has much more value.

If a collector happens to have a piece of autographed art in their collection, they should be very careful to take great care of it. These pieces are generally one of a kind and as a result, their worth can be quite high. People are often willing to pay a great deal of money for unique pieces of autographed art to complete their collections and these works of art should be considered to be investments by many. They can certainly change a person's life, and not simply for the artistic value they introduce.

The Beatles were a strong musical force which forever changed the face of America. The introduction of their music made musicians all over America stop and reevaluate what they knew about music. After that point, the music across the country began to change and become more personal, raw, and honest. People loved The Beatles during their day and they love them up to this day. There is no shortage of collectibles relating to The Beatles and the love of the band will ensure that these collectibles remain so for a long time into the future.

John Lennon, naturally, was considered to be one of the primary moving forces of The Beatles. He wrote a great number of their most popular songs and his presence was a very important part to the group. What many people do not actually know is that John Lennon was an artist long before his career with The Beatles took off and he remained an artist throughout his entire time as a musician. The art that he produced before and during his time as a musician is incredibly collectible, valuable, and rare. If one has the opportunity to add a John Lennon piece to their collection, they should absolutely do so.

Most of John Lennon's collectible art has been reproduced in the form of prints. These prints themselves are still very rare and collectible as they were produced in a limited edition. Throughout his career as an artist, he often turned over some of his paintings that he felt strongly about so that they could be reproduced into collector's editions. His signature was placed onto the work and these items were produced for serious collectors.

Some of his works were reproduced in a lithograph form. One particular set, entitled Bag One, was designed for his wife, Yoko Ono, as a wedding present. When the images were later reproduced, a number of them became confiscated by the police in other countries as breaking indecency codes. This set of lithographs is considered to be very rare and valuable due to the nature of the circumstances in which they were released. Many of them were damaged or destroyed through confiscation and this resulted in the lithographs becoming one of the most rare complete collections to ever exist. Museums all over the world are still attempting to collect complete sets of these lithographs.

After John Lennon's untimely death, his widow decided to begin releasing his paintings to the world again. He had a store of many hundreds of paintings upon his death and she thought the best way to commemorate him was by sharing his art with the world. His pieces began to be printed again for the public to begin collecting and they are still being released to this day. The Lennon Estate helps to share these works with the world, allowing them to be produced in a way that avid collectors can find and obtain. A John Lennon print, as rare as it is, makes a great addition to a collection of autographed art and should be considered by any art collector.

Pieces of art which either focus around celebrities or were made by celebrities can be considered pieces of celebrity art. This format of artwork is an impressive piece that anyone can have in their collection and many people try to build collections which are entirely centered around pieces of celebrity art. They can be valuable pieces that a person could sell for a great deal of money. Sometimes the most impressive collections are the ones which are worth many thousands of dollars. As impressive as any piece of celebrity art is, however, there is one thing which could make it even more valuable.

Autographs will improve the worth of nearly anything, as long as the autograph is relevant to the piece which is being signed. Autographs show that the celebrity in question has been approached and has agreed to sign the piece, turning it into something else which does not exist. These autographs can either take something which exists as part of a series which has been produced and turn it into a unique item, something that is one-of-a-kind for it has been autographed; it can also be a piece which is already unique and has a direct verification that it is an original piece and the celebrity is authenticating the work.

These autographs in themselves can also be collectible, for many people try to collect as many autographs as is possible for their own collections. An autograph usually means that a person has met the celebrity to get the autograph, although this is not necessarily so. Maybe the person simply had the courage to write to the celebrity to request the autograph. Either way, it has a personal touch to add to the work of art, allowing it to be more valuable and unique.

Collecting autographed pieces will enhance the value of anyone's collection for it allows that person to display the fact that they own pieces which have a direct correlation to a famous celebrity. This will not only impress anyone who views the collection, but it increases the value that the piece will have. When looking to sell the piece of autographed art, the fact that the piece has an autograph will greatly improve the worth.

Autographed pieces must be taken care of, naturally. Having a piece which looks to be in a great condition will make the piece sell for more money because every collector would rather have a piece in mint condition instead of something which is tattered and well-worn. The autograph itself should naturally look like the normal autograph of the celebrity. If it deviates in any manner, people might consider the autograph to be faked and then your piece would be worthless. If, however, you have a good looking piece in a great condition with a sharp autograph adorning it somewhere, it can be quite valuable. By taking proper care of the work, you may be able to treat the autographed art as an investment, using it to help fund a later retirement.

Celebrities can often provide some of the greatest memorabilia that can be fun and exciting for anyone to collect. Best of all, there is a constant stream of this memorabilia being created, for every time that a celebrity puts their autograph onto something, it becomes a collectors item. People can easily buy many of these collectible memorabilia items through specialty stores and the Internet, but it is often much more rewarding to collect these autographed celebrity photos on your own. This gives you the reward of the hunt and the satisfaction when you have successfully obtained that autograph.

If you are going to attempt to collect all of these autographed photos on your own, however, you should begin by following a few simple rules. The most important one is to always be polite. No one wants to talk to someone who is rude. If you spend your time shouting at the celebrity to get their attention, you are only going to annoy them and make them disinclined to give you the autograph that you want. If you are polite, however, you will have a much better chance at obtaining what you seek.

You should always also know exactly who you are seeking and be aware of things about this person. If you are trying to get autographs from a sports team, it is wise to always know the names of everyone on the team. Simply attempting to get everyone to sign can be a tacky move if you don't know everyone by name. Simply asking any of them to sign your memorabilia without being able to talk to them won't go over well. If you are attempting to get an autograph from a movie star, you should be well aware of exactly what that star's name is and the correct pronunciation, as well as how that person likes to be addressed. Addressing them in an inappropriate manner will only be rude and make that celebrity upset.

Another thing to be very aware of is the type of writing instrument that you bring for the celebrity to sign with. Be aware of the surface of the memorabilia that you are having be signed. If it is a glossy photo, be careful that the ink from the permanent pen will not smear and damage the photo. Ballpoint pens can be a good writing utensil but also will not look the best for it will lack the clean and crisp image of a permanent marker.

Finally, when seeking an autograph from a celebrity for your collection, you should always keep two things in line. Be early and be patient. Getting there early will give you one of the best positions where you are more likely to be seen. Once you arrive there, though, you must be patient. Moving around is only going to make you lose your spot and your chance to get the autographed celebrity photo that you want. All of these techniques will help you to gain that memorabilia item which you desperately want to complete your collection, you must only be sure to pay them good mind.

Retail stores can only carry so much merchandise. Even then, they always carry pre-packaged items which are just like all of the other copies on the shelf. There is nothing wrong with this, it is all that most people need for any of their purchases. If you are a collector, however, you know that you are not seeking the same sort of pre-packaged merchandise which is exactly the same thing that everyone else is buying. You want special items, collectible items. If they are autographed, it is even better for you and your collection. You won't be finding any of these items in the stores which people usually shop.

You may have luck, however, on the Internet. E-Commerce has spread in a way which gives anyone the ability to find potentially any items which exist in this world. Websites are devoted to tracking down and selling rare, collectible items and anyone serious about building an impressive collection of autographed celebrity art or other memorabilia would do well to begin a search on the Internet for the items that they are looking for. One specific type of website, though, offers the best chances of finding items that you may be after.

Auction websites are specifically designed for people who are looking to start a bidding war over items that they wish to sell. Often, rare, collectible items will be featured on these auction sites. There are often a number of collectors on these sites who are looking for these items, also. This means that bidding can begin on the item, with the person auctioning the item off looking to sell the item to the highest bidder. If the item being sold is especially rare, the money bid on this item can often reach quite a high state. Anyone looking to buy an item for their collection off of an auction website must be careful that they stay within their limits, as the excitement of bidding on items can often run high and people may place bids before they actually realize what they are doing.

These auction websites will often assist you in helping to win your bid, though. Most of them allow you to set a maximum amount which you are willing to bid. You write in the most that you would be willing to pay for the item. The bid is then officially entered as a dollar or two above the current bid price. If anyone comes along after you to bid, however, the website will automatically raise the bidding price, up to your maximum bid price. Often, this can entirely drive out the competition.

You must always be careful when making expensive purchases on an auction website, however. Many sellers can be shady and sell you an item that is not as it is billed. When you finally receive the item, you may be shocked to learn that it is not what you thought you bought. The seller has mysteriously disappeared with your money in the meantime, however. Therefore, you should only want to make purchases from sellers who have a high approval rating from those who have come before. These sellers have proven themselves trustworthy and you will not waste your money on a worthless item.

Hosting a fundraiser can be a difficult task. The goal, obviously, is to raise money, sometimes for charity and sometimes for a private, non-profit organization such as a high school marching band or theater group. People often will not simply donate money to the cause, however, for most people want to receive something back for their efforts. If the group doing the fundraising isn't particularly close to the heart of the donor, getting money from that person isn't likely to be an easy task. If, however, the group can offer something back which will pique the interest of the person they want the donation from, getting money might be much easier.

While many groups will opt for something easy like a bake sale, a little creativity can go a long way in terms of fundraising, especially when members of the group have connections, as small as they might be. By the same token, many celebrities are very vocal about topics and issues which they feel passionate about, whether it be global warming, the peace movement, or high school theater productions. With a little luck and a little clout, someone working on behalf of one of these groups could score a major victory toward their fundraising goals.

Autographed celebrity photos could be a great way to raise interest in the fundraising task. Auctions are often very popular ways to raise money for the goal, whether it be for a global cause or a local charity. When a number of items have been donated from various individuals and companies, a great deal of interest can be raised in the fundraiser itself. More people will become more inclined to attend the event and the potential to raise even more money will be met. Having an autographed celebrity photo in the collection will only lead more people to want to attend the event, in an attempt to win the collectible.

There are many different ways in which an autographed celebrity photo could be attained for a fundraising event. Sometimes they can be attained through relatives asking for a small donation from the celebrity in the form of the photo. Other times people will be willing to donate a photo from a private collection. Most celebrities are even generous people and if one has enough clout to reach one of their agents or representatives, one can often obtain an autographed celebrity photo in donation toward the cause.

These collectibles are something that everyone would be proud to have a part of their personal collections. While not all celebrities are liked by all people, many people would be honored to simply have something personalized from someone so famous in their collection. Depending on the celebrity, they might even be willing to go out of their way to get the piece, which is exactly what someone holding a fundraiser wants to hear. The autographed celebrity photo, especially if it is a photo autographed by multiple celebrities, could prove to be the most valuable piece which a fundraiser could hold.

Madonna is a celebrity that is widely known throughout the United States and the world. She is by and far one of the most famous female musical performers to ever set foot on stage. Her fame also extends onto the big screen in a dozen or so films that have moved her career along in the fast lane. She is well known for the pushing the limits of music with her countless and controversial tours wherein she has tested the public with her grand displays and statements. Her controversy and deep spirituality are two of the reasons why so many adoring fans follow her life and career with deep admiration.

Any avid follower of Madonna will no doubt wish to find collectibles that showcase and document the career and life of this wonderful performer. This is very true of novice collectors of Madonna who are just starting out. If you are just beginning to add items to your Madonna related collection, then you will need to know where to start and what to avoid.

The first thing to consider when looking for Madonna collectibles, is what type of items do you wish to add to your collection? This question will begin with research on your part. Most collectors will start with the very basics. They will look at her music career and will formulate a list of all the albums that Madonna has published over the years. They will then research deeper to find out in what manner these albums were published. Were they released on vinyl, tape cassette, and CD? Many collectors will begin with the most valuable and hard to find items, which would be any Madonna albums that appear on vinyl. These hard to find items are generally crowning pieces in any Madonna collection.

After doing your research you can attempt to find the items that you desire to add to you collection by visiting celebrity memorabilia stores and or celebrity auctions. You can begin by simply making contact with celebrity memorabilia stores via the telephone and acquiring about what types of Madonna collectibles they may have for sell. If they do inform you that they have certain items, you will want to ask them if the items are replications or if they are authentic first print items. If they tell you that they are authentic, you will then want to question the manner in which their business has taken in order to authenticate such items. You never want to get duped into thinking something is authentic when in fact it is a replication.

When it concerns finding hard to obtain albums from Madonna's early career you may also wish to research and find "rare record" stores that may have what you are looking for. Rare record stores generally can assist you in finding these types of collectibles even if they don't have one on hand. They know of other collectors and sellers that they can contact for a price and attempt to acquire the items you seek.

Patience, diligence, and research will always be your best friends when looking for Madonna collectibles.

Autographed celebrity art is a great feature for any collector to have. A collection that features autographed celebrity art displays that the owner is not only serious about collecting pieces of art, but that they can find rare and valuable pieces. Art has been produced about and by celebrities for quite some time and people often feel that these valuable pieces which are greatly worth collecting.

Entire personal collections of artwork can be built around pieces that are either about celebrities, or which were created by celebrities. Indeed, some of the celebrities in question simply are artists who have grown into great cultural icons, such as Andy Warhol or Jackson Pollock. Either of these famous artists might be classified as celebrity artists.

One always wishes to get the most for their money, however, and this is especially true when putting together collections of art. Finding a great bargain on a rare or valued painting can be a great opportunity for anyone to improve their collection of autographed art. Anecdotal stories occasionally pop up which feature people finding valuable paintings worth millions at a garage sale. Because the seller is unaware of the painting's value, the buyer is able to take advantage of the situation and purchase the piece for far below its value. Pursuit of valuable paintings which are available for low prices can be a fantastic hobby for even those of modest means.

Many people are ignorant about the actual value of some pieces of artwork in their collection. These individuals may attempt to sell a particular piece, unaware of how valuable the piece might actually be. This can be especially true during the bidding phases of auction websites. Because the seller may have no indication of what a piece may be worth, the seller will set the bidding quality low. If a person, as a collector, is lucky, they may stumble across one of these item listings for a rather low price. A sly and/or lucky collector would immediately snatch the piece up during the bidding. If the collector is even luckier, the item listing may go unnoticed by other collectors, allowing the price of the piece to remain incredibly low.

Ignorance of the seller is just one way that someone may stumble across a great piece of autographed art at a discount price. At other times, the seller may be aware of how valuable a piece actually is, but may be forced to sell the piece at a discount due to extenuating circumstances. Such circumstances could include the seller wishing to quickly unload the painting due to dire legal or financial troubles, or any number of other odd situation which may make haste a higher priority than fair market value. Whatever the circumstances may be, the seller may be forced to expand the channels through which they would sell the piece. While such a situation is often unfortunate for the seller, a wise collector can build an impressive collection for themselves through this sort of bargain hunting.
