In this day and age many well known celebrities have started to use their fame for good. They are now taking items from their personal collections and lives and are giving them to charitable events in order to have them auctioned off in order to obtain money for the organization and or charity. This allows busy celebrities who are unable to attend the event themselves in order to raise money, to show that they still care about the charity, and also give them a method and means to raise money for the charity.

The majority of celebrities will always list such functions wherein they will have items from their personal collection auctioned off for charity on their websites. If you are interested in obtaining one of a kind items from a celebrities personal collection to add to your own celebrity collectibles, then you should look into attending one of these auctions in person. However, in some cases these types of auctions for charity are conducted online. Since the charity has already taken these two steps prior to an item going up for bid in a celebrity collectible auction, you will save yourself both the time and money it would take you to do these things if you were purchasing it from a private seller. There is also the simple fact that the majority of items put up for charitable auction by the celebrity themselves are hard to find or one of kind items that you will not be able to find anywhere else on the market.
